Penstemon palmeri, commonly called Palmer's Penstemon or Balloon plant, is a perennial plant found in Joshua Tree Woodland and Pinyon-Juniper Woodland habitats. It is highly favored by many pollinators, and bumble bees consider it a favorite.

Palmer's Penstemon is drought tolerant, and loves heat. It requires full sun and excellent drainage.
